Utah Fits All Scholarship Program
Welcome to Sign Language 101! We are proud to be an eligible educational service provider for the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program. This program offers tax-free scholarship funds to eligible Utah students, allowing families to tailor their educational experiences to meet their needs. Here’s how you can benefit from this program and enroll in our ASL courses.
What is the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program?
The Utah Fits All Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to K-12 students in Utah. These funds can be used for a variety of educational expenses, including tuition, online courses, tutoring, and extracurricular activities. Administered by ACE Scholarships, the program aims to enhance educational choices for families across Utah.
Program Dates:
- July 1, 2024: First day of the program.
- August 7, 2024: Funding of the digital wallet accounts.
Key Dates for the 2024-2025 School Year:
- Application Open Date: January 1, 2024
- Application Close Date: March 31, 2024
- Award Notification Date: May 3, 2024
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program, students must:
- Be residents of Utah.
- Be eligible for K-12 education (ages 5-18).
- Not be enrolled in a public school during the 2024-2025 school year.
- Not receiving the Carson Smith Opportunity Scholarship.
Scholarships are awarded based on income levels, with priority given to students from families with lower incomes. The program uses a tiered system to distribute funds:
- Students from families with income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
- Students from families with income between 200-555% of the Federal Poverty Level.
- All other eligible students.
How to Apply
- Apply for the Scholarship:
- Visit the Utah Fits All Scholarship Program website to submit your application.
- Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria and provide all required documents, such as proof of residency and income.
- Applications are reviewed and prioritized based on income, with a lottery system used if there are more eligible applicants than available funds.
- Enroll with Sign Language 101:
- Once you receive your scholarship award, contact us at sales@signlanguage101.com to enroll in our ASL courses. Include each scholarship student's full legal first and last name in your email.
- We will send an invoice to you with the requested courses and workbooks that you can upload to your parent portal in ClassWallet.
- We offer a range of courses designed for different learning levels and grade levels. All our courses have an accompanying workbook with additional activities and content to boost your ASL skills.
- Manage Your Scholarship Funds:
- Scholarship funds are managed through a digital wallet account. These funds can be used to pay for our ASL courses and other approved educational expenses.
